Background Checks

All Allied Health Services students are required to complete and receive clearance on an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and Sex Offender Registry check. This process is part of the student's orientation and is required prior to enrollment in courses that include a clinical component and that are part of the program degree plan. Some of the allied health professions have licensing requirements which may prohibit applicants with felony convictions from obtaining a license required for employment. Licensure requirements and links to licensing agencies can be found in the program web pages.
