The ABC’s of Ecofest: Aquaponics, Birdfeeders, Cooking Demonstrations and Do It Yourself
The 2017 Ecofest offers something for everyone in the family from cooking demonstrations to presentations on protecting our environment, gardening and aquaponics. A new feature this year is the Repair Café with how-to’s for areas of home repair and gardening. The event is free and will take place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 25 on the TCC Northeast Campus, 3727 East Apache Street.

Broken Arrow Fire Department Offers Internships for TCC Students
As part of an innovative new program, the Broken Arrow Fire Department and Tulsa Community College are launching a Fire and Emergency Medical Services internship for TCC students. The interns are taking part of the 20-week Broken Arrow Fire Academy, in order to learn the skills needed to perform the duties of a firefighter as well as earning essential certifications for employment.

Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Teaches at TCC
Professor Istvan Feher, a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence, is teaching this semester at The University of Tulsa and Tulsa Community College.
