Free Lecture Series to Focus on World War I
This semester the Tulsa Community College History Department offers a free lecture series on World War I. Each lecture will explore a different theme related to the great war and its impact on today’s global world.

Firefighters-in-Training Graduate from Tulsa Regional Fire Academy
Fifteen firefighters-in-training graduated from the Tulsa Regional Fire Academy ready to step into a job with a local fire department. These fifteen TCC students are the first class to complete a challenging concentrated semester of coursework which combines classroom learning, hands-on skills training, and physical fitness.

TCC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Adds Third Accreditation
Tulsa Community College’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program reaches a milestone with a third accreditation in a focused area of study. The College is now accredited in Vascular, and was accredited in Abdominal and Obstetrics/Gynecology in Jan. 2016 by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

TCC Joins Forces with Five Other Higher Ed Institutions to Help Students
Tulsa Community College, along with regional partners Langston University, Northeastern State University, Oklahoma State University, Rogers State University, and The University of Tulsa have joined forces for the Tulsa Transfer Project.

Helping Tulsans Earn More Money

TCC Approves FY 19 Budget
TCC Board of Regents approved a $117.4 million Education and General budget for FY19 at its June 14 meeting. This year’s budget reflects no change in state allocations from the previous year.

TCC Names New VP of Workforce Development
Peter “Pete” Selden has been named the new vice president of workforce development at Tulsa Community College. The TCC Board of Regents approved his appointment at the April meeting and Selden started his position on May 14, 2018.

Applications Accepted for First Ever Tulsa Regional Fire Academy
The first ever Tulsa Regional Fire Academy launches in fall 2018 providing a chance for individuals to earn college credit while completing firefighter training. The inaugural class is a result of a partnership with the Tulsa Fire Department and Tulsa Community College.
