Federal Work-Study Jobs

TCC's Federal Work-Study program provides students with income, career experience, and professional references. Apply via FAFSA to qualify for available jobs.

TCC's Federal Work-Study program offers valuable opportunities for students with financial needs. Becoming a work-study employee not only provides you with a source of income to assist with college expenses but also opens doors to gain practical work experience and insights into potential career paths. Additionally, it offers the chance to build strong professional references, setting you on a path to future job success.

You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid to work on campus as a work-study employee. You may be offered work-study as part of your financial aid award; however, if it was not included, you may ask about your eligibility by visiting a campus Financial Aid & Scholarships Office.

As a work-study employee, you may work up to 20 hours per week and earn at least minimum wage, up to the amount of your financial need. You may be employed on one of our campuses, or as a reading or math tutor in a local public school.
