Painting Beyond Sight with John Bramblitt
June 7 & 8, 2016
Discover how artist John Bramblitt creates striking paintings despite being blind June 6 - 8 at the Center for Creativity. Featured in the Huffington Post, CBS News, and the Chicago Tribune, Bramblitt will demonstrate how he uses his fingers to feel paint textures during his artist's talk, "Painting Beyond Sight," from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7.
The public can try Bramblitt's sightless painting technique at the "Multi-Sensory Painting Workshop" from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 8. No experience is required, and all supplies are provided. Ages 14 and older are welcome. Registration is required by emailing Cindy Barton with your name, email address, and phone number. Seating is limited.
Bramblitt's visit is in conjunction with "Please Touch the Art," an interactive art exhibit that engages all the senses.

About the Event Hall
The Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity Gallery is located in the Event Hall, just inside the main doors facing Boston Avenue. Stop in and see the constantly rotating exhibitions featuring local artists, TCC students and faculty, and visiting artists from across the U.S. All events are free and open to the public. (Exhibitions cannot be viewed when an event is in progress.)
