  3. 2017 Vision Dinner Honoring Alison Anthony Sets Fundraising Record

    The 2017 Vision in Education Leadership Award Dinner set a new fundraising record as the evening honored Alison Anthony, the newly named chief operating officer of the Tulsa Area United Way. In addition to honoring Anthony, the event also marked the 10th anniversary of Tulsa Achieves, a program that served as a nationwide model for public higher education.

  4. OpenStax Saves TCC Students Thousands of Dollars in Textbook Costs

    An initiative to help Tulsa Community College students with the cost of textbooks expands this semester to reach an estimated 2,500 students. TCC partnered with OpenStax, a Rice University-based nonprofit publisher, in the summer of 2016 to boost the use of free online and low cost textbooks across TCC courses.

  5. TCC Corrections Education Program Sees Largest Graduation Ceremony

    Cody Zimmer is one of 57 individuals at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma graduating with a certificate or degree from Tulsa Community College. The commencement ceremony was held on Thursday, July 20 and was the largest group since the TCC Corrections Education program started in 2007 as a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Dick Conner Correctional Center and TCC.

  6. TCC Partners with Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office to Offer New Certificate

    Tulsa Community College is offering a new Corrections Certificate beginning fall 2017 for individuals who work in corrections facilities or prisons. The program is the result of a partnership between TCC and the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.
