If you’re an incoming freshman and Tulsa County resident, complete the Tulsa Achieves Agreement. If you meet the requirements, you get your first two years of college free.

State Scholarships

Discover Oklahoma's Promise, a scholarship opportunity that paves the way to higher education for eligible Oklahoma high school students. Income-based eligibility and academic requirements apply.

See You Qualify for Oklahoma's Promise

Get tuition waived for up to $700 per semester and a total of $1,400 for the academic year. Funds for the waiver are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply by completing a FAFSA by the priority deadline of March 1. Discover what Oklahoma Resident Tuition Waiver and Policies can do for you.

The OK Future Teacher Scholarship and Employment Incentive Program also known as the "Inspired to Teach" scholarship, offers qualified Oklahoma students an opportunity to earn scholarships and benefits. Program participants may have the opportunity to earn up to $25,500 as they complete their Educator Preparation Program and teach in Oklahoma.

My Dream is a scholarship opportunity for Tulsa and Rogers County high school graduates who will not receive any state or federal financial aid.

The purpose of the Ragland Family Education Foundation Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to Oklahoma students with limited educational funding who want to obtain a college degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).

Must be a high school student pursuing studies in Theatre Program, as well as an OK resident. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for first-semester students, 3.0 GPA is required for the second semester. Applicant must provide two contrasting monologues and a technical portfolio. The date, time, and location of scholarship interviews and auditions are arranged by Mark Frank, Coordinator of Theatre – mark.frank@tulsacc.edu.

A talentship is a grant credited directly to the student's account and is awarded toward the end of the applicable semester.

Requirements

Includes an audition (may be waived for prior students whose ability is already known to the faculty) and enrollment in and successful completion of ensembles and private lessons. The student must also be an Oklahoma resident.

TCC Waivers

Oklahoma Resident Tuition Waiver

Various tuition waivers are available to Oklahoma residents. To be considered for a tuition waiver submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to TCC by February 1.

Non-OKLAHOMA Resident Tuition Waiver

The Non-Resident Tuition Waiver application is intended for students who are residents of other states.

This scholarship tuition waiver is for a specified dollar amount. It does not include textbooks, parking, ID, or other student fees. Financial Services is notified of successful applicants. The student's account is credited with the specified dollar amount granted in the waiver. If a student has already paid for the upcoming academic period's classes, then Financial Services will send the student a refund reflecting the scholarship portion of the paid tuition.

The Application for the Music Department Tuition Waiver is reviewed as they are submitted and auditions are completed.

This opportunity waives tuition for up to 9 credit hours. It does not include textbooks, parking, ID, or other student fees. Financial Aid is notified of the successful applicants. They, then, credit the student's account with the number of hours granted in the waiver. If a student has already paid for the upcoming academic period's classes, then Financial Services will send the student a refund reflecting the scholarship portion of the paid tuition.

TRiO services are focused on low-income and potential first-generation college students. First-generation is defined as students for whom neither parent has a four-year college degree. Students are nominated by an EOC Counselor.

Participants must:

  • Submit a FAFSA
  • Reside in Tulsa, Creek, or Osage County
  • Be at least 19 years old
  • Be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or meet FAFSA requirements, be admitted as a TCC student, and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Federal income guidelines
  • Neither parent graduated with a four-year degree
  • Have a documented disability

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, as well as a minimum overall completion rate of 67% or greater. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours.
