Admission for Summer-Only Enrollment

Are you currently enrolled and degree-seeking at another institution, but want to pick up a couple extra classes while you are home for the summer? TCC is the perfect place to earn credits that will transfer back to your home institution.

Open enrollment for the summer 2025 semester begins on Monday, April 7. Classes fill up quickly, so don't delay. For more details, give us a call at 918-595-8000.

Steps for Summer-Only Enrollment

  1. Consult with your current college advisor to determine the TCC course that is equivalent to your needs.
  2. Complete our online admission application. (If you've been at TCC within the last year and know your TCC email address and student ID, proceed to Step 3 directly.)
  3. Review your desired course and identify any prerequisite(s) that may be necessary. 

    Browse available courses in the class schedule. (Check to see if you meet the prerequisites for your chosen course(s) before requesting approval, and check the course start date. You can only enroll in courses that haven't started yet.)
  4. Fill out the summer prerequisite approval request form and include all required documents listed below. Please have your TCC ID Number ready when completing this form. If you're unsure about your TCC ID Number or TCC email address, please contact the Student Support Center at 918-595-2000 for assistance.
    1. Submit any required documentation to meet prerequisites and college proficiency standards. This may include unofficial college transcripts, current class schedule, and/or ACT/SAT scores. Your transcript and/or schedule must include your full name and the name of your transfer institution to be accepted. Degree audits are not accepted.
    2. If you're currently enrolled in the prerequisite course, provide a copy of your current class schedule or unofficial transcript displaying your in-progress courses. Your transcript and/or schedule must include your full name and the name of your transfer institution to be accepted. Degree audits are not accepted.
  5. Within 3-5 business days, expect an email with further instructions delivered to your TCC email address.
  6. Secure your class spot and avoid being dropped by setting up a payment plan or making full payment. (Payment is due within 10 days of enrollment before May 1, and within 48 hours of enrollment after May 1. The deadline changes to 24 hours the Saturday before classes begin.)
