Grants Office includes the Offices of Sponsored Programs and Grant Compliance & Accounting. Each office has a unique function, staff, and reporting structure. Combined, the Grants Office helps ensure public funding successfully completes the life cycle of a grant.

The Grants Office is located on the 14th floor of the Bank of America Center in downtown Tulsa.
Sponsored Programs
- Researches federal and state funding sources aligned with TCC’s mission and strategic plan
- Facilitates program development in collaboration with college subject matter experts
- Provides a range of grant writing support, from developing comprehensive proposals to editing drafts and compiling application materials
- Manages the review and approval process for new grant submissions
- Coordinates and authorizes the final submission of competitive federal and state grant applications
- Oversees new grant contract and award review and processing
- Provides training and technical assistance to faculty and staff during program implementation
Grant Compliance & Accounting
- Ensures fiscal compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including Office of Management and Budget Uniform Grant Guidance, funding agency regulations, and specific grant program regulations
- Establishes new grant accounts and monitors grant budgets
- Invoices the sponsoring agency
- Monitors time and effort reporting and reconciliation
- Submits quarterly, annual, and final financial reports
- Offers Banner training for new grant employees

The Offices of Sponsored Programs and Grant Compliance & Accounting support TCC by strategically securing public funding for programs and initiatives to maximize student success, professional development, and community engagement. The two departments also serve as stewards of existing grants by promoting sound fiscal and program management, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and institutional policies and procedures.
